Exciting news! Our Education & Interpretation team has been recognized with an Award of Excellence from Interpretation Canada for our Virtual Rizdvo-Ukrainian Pioneer Christmas school program! The Awards of Excellence are awarded annually for excellence in cultural, natural and historical interpretation. We received a Silver Award of Excellence in the Personal Interpretation category for our virtual school program teaching students about Ukrainian Christmas traditions in east central Alberta. Kudos to the Education & Interpretation staff who worked so hard to create virtual programming in 2020 , which allowed us to connect with students, even when they couldn’t visit the museum in-person!
